Using 'Green' in a design scheme

Here at Homestyles by Hayley, we want you to 'Go Green'...the colour Green that is! Using Green in a design scheme - particularly pale greens - can have such a peaceful and calming effect on your surroundings. The ultimate 'earth' tone, green can either be introduced gently with the odd accessory here and there, or really thrown into the mix with perhaps a feature wall.
Green also goes with so many other colours. Team it with greys for the ultimate 'homely' vibe or be bold and pair it with it's opposite on the colour wheel...red!!! Who says 'red and green should never be seen!'?? 😄But if you're not feeling that brave just yet, take a look at some of the 'Green Goodies' on offer in the Homestyles by Hayley store💚

If you are looking to sell your property for as much money as possible and as quickly as possible, then the benefits of home staging cannot be underestimated. Sometimes even the simplest of changes can make the difference between a viewer walking in and immediately feeling like YOUR property could be THEIR future home. Here are 3 key things to consider: 1. First impressions and ‘curb-appeal’ . Could the outward appearance of your property be putting some people off even booking a viewing? Try and make the entrance to your property as inviting as possible. Sweep a path/driveway, put out some plants, wash down your front door. You’ll be surprised at the difference it can make! 2. Have a ‘de-clutter’ . Not only will this help you further down the line as it will be items already packed away, sold, or even disposed of, but it also lets a viewer to envision their own life in a property rather than just seeing lots of your personal effects. 3. Find ‘the heart’ of your property . In most cases this is usually the lounge, so spend some time making sure this room is well presented and sets the tone for the rest. Find or create a focal point in the room such as a fireplace and work out from there. Once a viewer ‘locks on’ to this, it is much easier for them to imagine how this room, and even the rest of the property could work for them.
