If you are looking to sell your property for as much money as possible and as quickly as possible, then the benefits of home staging cannot be underestimated. Sometimes even the simplest of changes can make the difference between a viewer walking in and immediately feeling like YOUR property could be THEIR future home. Here are 3 key things to consider: 1. First impressions and ‘curb-appeal’ . Could the outward appearance of your property be putting some people off even booking a viewing? Try and make the entrance to your property as inviting as possible. Sweep a path/driveway, put out some plants, wash down your front door. You’ll be surprised at the difference it can make! 2. Have a ‘de-clutter’ . Not only will this help you further down the line as it will be items already packed away, sold, or even disposed of, but it also lets a viewer to envision their own life in a property rather than just seeing lots of your personal effects. 3. Find ‘the heart’ of your property . In most cases this is usually the lounge, so spend some time making sure this room is well presented and sets the tone for the rest. Find or create a focal point in the room such as a fireplace and work out from there. Once a viewer ‘locks on’ to this, it is much easier for them to imagine how this room, and even the rest of the property could work for them.
